Privacy Policy

I keep this short because the honest version is short. This site is run by Ben James, trading as Sydney Website Systems (ABN 44 181 927 880), based in Sydney, Australia.

What I collect

If you use the contact form, I collect your name, email, phone number if you provide it, and whatever you write in your message. That's it. I collect it because you're asking me to get in touch, nothing else.

I also use privacy-respecting analytics (PostHog) to understand how the site is used: pages visited, roughly where visitors come from, and how people move through the site. This helps me improve the site. Session recording is turned off—I do not record sessions or replay how you interact with pages.

The site uses Cloudflare Turnstile to protect the forms against spam and abuse. Your use of it is subject to Cloudflare's Turnstile Privacy Addendum.

How I use it

To reply to you, to understand and improve the site, and for nothing else. I don't sell your data. I don't share it except with the tools I use to run the site and respond to you (email delivery, database hosting, analytics), and only to the extent needed to do that.

Where it's stored

Contact submissions are stored securely and used only to respond to your enquiry. The tools behind the site (hosting, database, email, analytics) store data on their own infrastructure under their own privacy terms.

Your choices

You can ask me what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email support@sydneywebsitesystems.com and I'll sort it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
